Introduction to your subject

The introduction should contain some general remarks about the subject you have chosen. It may also include some indication on how you plan to structure your text. Since the readers do not know anything about the topic you are going to tell them about, you should also include some information on what sort of subject you have chosen.

• Purpose: what is the purpose of the report? What problems will you try to find the answer to. Definitions, what to include and what to exclude.
• Method/how you proceed. Your approach. Have you done interviews, studied literature, done experiments? What difficulties have you encountered?
