You will be giving a short (5 -10 minutes) speech, probably to
a few other students and a teacher. You will do this at a workshop
or a telephone conference.
Pick a subject that you feel strongly for or against. It may help
you to do research to strengthen your arguments.
Introduce your subject to the listener, for example: I don't think
marijuana should be legalized.
Give your reasons for your opinion and give examples to support
them, for example: The use of marijuana may lead to further and
heavier substance abuse. I read this information in a book by NN.
When you have given all your reasons, make a closing statement
such as: I believe in a drug free society and I hope my arguments
have affected you.
