We will be holding regular telephone conferences.
You need to take part in at least one conference as part of your
oral presentation task. In a telephone conference you can talk with
other students and a teacher. You are also free
to take part in a telephone conference just to practice your spoken
English or if you have any other questions. Further down this page
you will find some instructions but first the dates and times.

Telephone conference - Instructions
Before you take part send a mail to the teacher holding the session
so they know you are coming. Places are limited as it is important
that everyone gets a chance to talk. First come, first served, as
we say in Britain.
If no-one has mailed the concerned teacher they will not
hold the telephone conference. (To find a teacher's mail address
click on the envelope icon.)
We have two conference numbers but during the fall term, 2002,
conferences use the following number -
08 500 504 80.
How it works
You phone the conference, from any phone, at the time the conference
starts. If we have 'opened' the conference you can speak directly
to your teacher and anyone
else who has 'arrived' before you.
If you are a little early then you will hear a message asking you
to wait or to enter a code. If you hear that message then wait,
or call back a couple of minutes later.
The other number we use is 08 56212131.
