The letters you write have several important characteristics.
One of them is size. Size is measured in points.
This text is 10 points.
This text is 12 points.
This text is 14 points.
In MS Word you can easily set the size of your letters on the formatting
ribbon. Just to the left of the name of the typeface (very likely
it says "Times New Roman" here), you have a drop-down
menu where you can set the size of the typeface. Be sure
you have marked your text before you change the size. The
typeface for this course must be set for 12 points.
For this course your document margins must be set to 14
cm. A 14 cm. margin is the width of the lines on your page.
In MS Word you can adjust the margins on the ruler. If you don't
see a ruler under the formatting ribbon, go to "View"
(Visa) in the menu bar and make sure "Ruler" (Linjal)
is checked. Adjustments to the margins are made by pulling the margin
indicators on the ruler left and right. You should have all your
left margins lined up at 0 on the ruler and your triangular right
margin should be set at 14. Make sure you have marked the
whole text before making margin adjustments.
