Most plurals are formed by adding -s
to the noun.
Some nouns become plural by using the
following rules:

Plurals for nouns ending in S,
Z, CH, SH, or X
are formed by adding -es
one watch - two watches |

Plurals for nouns ending in Y are
formed in two ways:
If a consonant comes before the final y in the
word, drop the y and add -ies.
baby - babies |
candy - candies |
If a vowel comes before the final y in the word,
just add -s.

formed in two ways:
If a consonant comes before
the O, add -es
If a vowel comes before the
O, just add -s.
