This workshop will give you the chance to practice your speaking
skills through discussions, role play, and problem-solving activities.
Most of our work will be centred around cultural awareness.
A common language doesn't necessarily mean a shared culture. In
Jamaica, North America or New Zealand behaviours and traditions
differ. By being aware of these differences you can deepen your
understanding and enjoy the great variety that can be found in the
English speaking world.
Come to class prepared to discuss traditions you know occur in
English speaking countries. How are these traditions different from
those found in Sweden?
