Reader

Almost all of your assignments involve some reading.

You can choose your own reader (lärobok för engelska A) for example Progress Topics (Corona AB). It contains a number of short stories from different parts of the English-speaking world. Reading through this type of book will give you the opportunity to work with different types and styles of literature. It will also introduce you to different cultures within the English-speaking world.

Assignment: Speaker’s Corner

Part one: The short stories in this kind of textbook are often gathered on themes or topics. Choose a theme from your book and write about your thoughts and opinions with texts from your reader as a starting-point. Your contribution can be argumenting or just commenting. Publish your short composition (not more than one page) in the discussion group. Write the title of your reader, please.

Part two: Write and publish an answer or comment on another student’s contribution.
